In the space of two weeks we photographed two new venues, one was at Tissington Hall for Becky and Steve and this wedding was for Sarah and Matt and the Old Vicarage in Westhorpe in Notts.
The Old Vicarage is a boutique hotel, ideal for smaller weddings and is a lovely venue. As usual Anne spent the hour or so before the service photographing the bride and I photographed Matt and his best man plus the guests arriving.
As this was a new venue for us we arrived much earlier than we needed to in order to speak with the hotel staff, do a full recce for the photography, check light levels and do a risk assessment for flying our drone to get aerial shots of the wedding party
Sarah and Matt booked us for 3 hours but in that time we photographed the bride, the groom, all the guests, the service, candid shots of the guests, the group shots and still had time to get airborne with our drone and take some shots from above for them. Unfortunately for flying the venue has lots of trees so we only had one angle to shoot from once we were in the air.
Sarah and Matt got 480 hi-res images as memories of their day
