Prior to portrait photography in Sheffield we will talk it over with you to find out what you want and then adapt our time to suit you. If the shoot is planned to be outdoors and the weather is against us then we simply rebook without any change to the price you pay.

We understand that being in front of the camera can be slightly nerve-wracking and we don’t tend to put a timescale on the shoot, letting it take as long as it takes but as an indication you should plan on about an hour.

Nothing is rushed and we always allow plenty of time for you to become at ease, relax and have fun. During the shoot we will take lots of photos and then arrange a later date to show you the images we’ve taken.

Please note that you won’t get your images at the end of a portrait or pet session. Every photograph that we show to you will have had post shoot work done on it in Photoshop and will have benefited from some small cropping, sharpening or adjustments to ensure that you receive the very best images possible.

Modelling / TFP / Time For… / Prints for Time

Call it what you will, if you need photos for your portfolio we can arrange a TF shoot with you. This won’t cost you anything as we both benefit.

Although you aren’t paying anything, you should approach a prints for time shoot with professionalism. It will be fun but we are both giving up our time to get something out of it. You get a CD Rom of all the photos and we get to use the photos too. If you want albums or prints doing we can arrange this, but there would be a charge.

Remember that you are a partner in the project. There has to be a fair balance of responsibilities. You shouldn’t expect  the photographer to do all the work and don’t expect the photographer to treat the shoot simply as a free portfolio shoot for you.

You, the model, do not only have the right to copies of the photos on a CD Rom, but also the responsibility to put all your efforts, imagination, creativity and heart in it.  The photographer, too, must get something out of a prints for time shoot.
