Wedding photography
Last weekend we were at Rufford Park Country Club to photograph Marie and Shane’s wedding reception. They were married in Jamaica but were having a reception in the UK and we were there to photograph it.
As wedding photographers you have to get used to the fact that weekends are your busiest time but the upside is that we get to travel to some amazing venues and meet such lovely people
Rufford Park is a country club and golf course near Edwinstowe.
aerial photography
We had packed our drone along with all our cameras and lenses so we asked the pro’s shop if we could have permission to fly so that we could capture some aerial shots of the venue and groups too
We always get to a venue early so that we can check the weather, the light and everything else that may impact on the photography. Once we had permission from the club to fly we took off and got some shots of the clubhouse before anyone arrived and we were then ready for the guests and the bride & groom to arrive
Because we were starting the reception photography at 6pm and it was a sunny evening we were blessed with soft and low light. The only downside to low light is that it tends to be right in the face if you are facing the wrong way
For the group shots we turned the groups side on to the sun so there was no squinting and we used a bit of fill flash to lighten the shadows
testimonial from the client
