We are skilled event photographers in Sheffield and a few weeks ago we were contacted by the Children’s Hospital Charity to photograph the inaugural Dan Walker Golf Day at the Hallamshire Golf Club in aid of the charity.
Dan is a TV sports reporter and interviewer and he had arranged for a host of sports personalities to give their time to play golf and raise money
The car park looked like a Bentley garage forecourt when I arrived but I squeezed the Footprint Photography mini in amongst the big boys and headed in to start my day. The weather was wonderful and the celebs were very giving of their time to be photographed.
It was mostly footballers who were playing but John Parrott the snooker player made an appearance too – he’s the one screwing his face up in one of the team photos if you can’t find him
The event raised a lot of money for the Children’s Hospital Charity and we were delighted to be asked to take part
