Worksop Golf Club Aerial Video
Several weeks ago I spent a day at Worksop Golf Club photographing the course from the ground and from the air with my drones Previous job
On the back of that Alan Mansbridge, the Secretary / Manager invited me back to do an aerial video of the course so that it could be played in the club house and also available as a YouTube video on their website.
How did we get the results?
Alan wanted 2 videos doing, one at low level and the other from treetop height. For the low level video it would have been difficult to maintain a fixed height above the ground as the terrain rose and fell so we found that common sense and a bit of cheating did the job. We borrowed a buggy and holding the drone out to the side we drove / flew each hole and interspersed the video footage with stills from the first shoot.
The second video had to be flown properly as it was to be much higher, so after all the normal pre flight checks, risk assessments and handling checks of the aircraft we took off and spent an excellent few hours flying the drone from tee to green on each hole.
Each video was then cut to have a similar background and still images.

Club History
Founded in 1914, Worksop Golf Club is the home course for Ryder Cup player Lee Westwood.
I can recommend the course to any golfer for its very warm welcome and the facilities too.
