Bochum Parkway / Meadowhead Roundabout from the air
If you use the Bochum Parkway and the Meadowhead roundabout at the top of the A61 Dronfield Bypass you will have noticed a lot of roadworks these last months. Howard Civil Engineering are one of my clients and they have been playing a key role in the redesign and surfacing works that have been going on.
Carriageways have been moved and resurfaced and new traffic control and lights have been installed to support (in part) the new retail park adjacent to JCT600 Audi / VW.
Thankfully the work is now mainly done apart from opening the slip roads to the retail park and you can see the results in the photos below I took a few days ago.
Aerial photography gives a very unique view of what’s on the ground and is a great way to record things like the changes to towns and cities.
Drone pre flight checks
As with all drone flights I do a lot of work goes on behind the scenes before we take off. The include receiving permission to take off and land, pre flight checks of the drone, risk assessments and a physical walk around the site. Only when all this has been done to we prep the drone and fly the job
