Aerial photography of a demolition site in Chesterfield
I was contacted by Tattersall Construction late last week asking whether I could do a short notice series of aerial photographs of a demolition site. I was able to shuffle things in my diary and a couple of days ago I was in Chesterfield with the drone up in the air photographing a farm house coming down to make way for a group of new houses on the same plot
Drone safety in the air
When I arrived there were a few people looking at the building coming down so I briefed them on what I was going to do and then explained about drone safety.
Apart from the onlookers the on site survey didnt identify anything to hamper the drone flying. There were no trees in the way and no overhead cables to contend with.
Once I had done my walk around of the site and completed the pre flight paperwork, risk assessment and pre flight checks of the aircraft. it was time to time to get up in the air and fly the job.
